Group Finance plays a key role in ensuring our success by securing and building the financial strength and performance of the Bank.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Finance Analyst to join the Cards Acquisition Business Partnering team within the Consumer Finance division based in Cardiff. Our team is responsible for supporting the Cards Leadership team and providing key insight to help navigate the strategic direction of the business. You'll be responsible for delivering the key financial forecast for the Front Book business and will work closely with teams across the Cards business and within the Consumer Finance division to drive engagement in the forecasting process and capture all requirements, providing challenge and feedback at all stages. You'll maintain the Front Book Forecasting model to ensure it continues to meet the needs of the department and key stakeholders and prepare outputs for the forecast process with insightful analytical analysis against key comparators. You'll support the reporting activity of key monthly results on acquisition business and forecasting financial performance. You'll help deliver key insight on emerging trends within the business / the market and providing ad hoc support on various projects that are ongoing across the business. We'll provide you with the opportunity to gain insight into all aspects of Consumer Credit Card performance and build a strong professional network across the organisation.Ideally you'll be looking to study for a professional finance qualification and have a proven track record preparing financial forecasts.
