There are ten divisions within Technology. Technology & Information Risk (TIR) is part of the Global Technology and Data organization and manages operational and technology related risks on behalf of the Firm. The group's key principles are to provide proactive, comprehensive and consistent risk management, to enable the execution of the Firms strategy. TIR's mandate is to enable the Firm to manage its technology and data related risks through implementing proactive, comprehensive and consistent risk management practices across the Firm to protect the franchise while capturing business opportunities. The TIR team partners with the business by ensuring that Technology and Data understands how to manage escalate and monitor risk. Team Profile With offices across the globe, including NY, London, Hong Kong, Glasgow and Montreal, the Business Technology Risk (BTR) Function is responsible for managing and mitigating risk for the WM, IM, PBFFT, OCT and ISG organizations. This Glasgow based Associate role sits within the BTR Entitlements team which operates to ensure that entitlements are properly managed. The team is responsible for ensuring various entitlement reviews throughout the year are completed within the allotted timeframe and that the integrity of the reviews is maintained. The team works with various risk officers, and the TIR organization to identify areas of improvement within the entitlements space. The role is global in nature with colleagues and key stakeholders based in locations across the world. The successful candidate will build relationships across different regions and time zones to deliver the Central BTR book of work Primary Responsibilities Reporting to the BTR Entitlements Manager, the successful candidate will play a role in supporting the entitlement process on various initiatives such as; entitlements review execution tasks from planning to completion providing support for entitlements related projects, audits and report creation. The role requires a strong analytical perspective, requiring an ability to work and manipulate large volumes of data and creation and maintenance of metrics dashboards to support the risk function. The candidate would be required to develop reports, create key risk metrics and mange communications to various business units. The candidate is required to: - Work independently and co-ordinate key projects deliverables with the Team - Manage and own processes in support of the goals of the entitlements function - Have excellent interpersonal and client service skills and be able to communicate with officers across the firm. - Prepare entitlement metrics - Work with TIR and other business units to adopt new features and functionality within the entitlement management area Qualifications: Skills Required - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong attention to detail - Strong MS Excel skills(pivot tables, advanced formulae etc), analytic skills - Knowledge of all MS products Skills Desired - Experience of working in an Identity & Access Management environment - Experience of working in an Investment Banking environment - Experience of working within an entitlements team - Project Management experience preferred The salary of this role is competitive.
