- Harrow Secondary School

We have a position for a 1:1 Autism Support for Secondary schools in North West London. This role involves working 1:1 with a little boy who has autism. He can display challenging behaviour, often getting upset when he is unable to complete a task and disrupting the class. The role includes assisting the class teacher and supporting the pupil with different activities and lessons. You will be expected to monitor pupil progression taking in to account the child's EHCP.
This Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Harrow would like an enthusiastic and resilient graduate to join their team to support a pupil with autism 1:1. To be successful, you will need to have a core undergraduate degree in Psychology or a related subject, with experience working with autism, although this does not necessarily need to be in a school setting, as long as you have transferable skills.
The school is based in Harrow North, West London, with easy access to surrounding areas.
If you think you have what it takes to succeed as 1:1 Autism Support, apply to join this fabulous Secondary school in North West London! Click apply or send your CV and covering letter to Ryan at i-teachers.
