An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SaaS Sales Account Manager to join PRISYM ID based in Wokingham.PRISYM ID is a well-established company based in Wokingham, and is one of the world's leading developers of product identification and barcoding software. They have been developing high quality labelling and Auto ID solutions to companies in a wide range of industries for over 30 years. They bring together a combination of skills, experience, products and services that are unique in the labelling and identification market.The SaaS Sales Account Manager is a new permanent role that has been specifically created to help make a quick success of the PRISYM SaaS solution. The SaaS Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving new business for the PRISYM SaaS cloud based label management solution.The role will consist of using sales and marketing data sources to identify and pursue PRISYM SaaS prospect customers, primarily in the SME medical device sector but also across a range of Life Sciences organisations at the SME end of the market. Main duties will include:
Owning new and existing leads provided through sales and marketing activities identified and PRISYM SaaS opportunities.Initiating conversations with customers, identifying key individuals and qualifying potential for progressing into real opportunities.Articulating the PRISYM SaaS value proposition clearly to customers and identifying where the biggest benefit for specific customers will be delivered.Where appropriate, attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business developmentProviding pricing information to customers.Pursuing opportunities to closure.Providing on-going account management support for customers and identifying opportunities for repeat sales / expansion of their environments.Liaison with the wider PRISYM ID Sales and Marketing team.Willingness to travel when required by opportunities or other aspects of the role.
Working closely with the SaaS Operations team and the broader PRISYM ID Sales and Marketing group, the Sales Account Manager will be responsible for identifying and qualifying PRISYM SaaS sales opportunities in the small and medium sized enterprise (SME) space in Life Sciences, making contact with the decision makers and influencers at the target organization, articulating the value proposition of the solution and progressing the opportunities to closure. With a key focus on the US market there may be the need to organise appointments and travel to customers' sites.An ideal SaaS Sales Account Manager must have a broad range of skills which include all of the following:
Ability to work on own initiative with ambition and drive.Must be highly self-disciplined and a self-starter.Previous experience in telephone based sales, telemarketing, cold calling and following up leads.Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets.Organised with ability to plan schedules, set priorities and prove that target number of calls have been made.Used to exceeding targets with high quality work.Excellent communicator and telephone manner representing the company in a positive light at all times.Professional with integrity and a strong work ethic.Diligence in data gathering and data entry.Familiarity with concepts and use of CRM systems. Resilient and have the ability to move straight on with the next call and remain upbeat after dealing with a difficult contact.IT literate and familiar with Microsoft based products - Office, Outlook, Visio,Good general educationPolite, articulate and well-presentedNative English speaker or equivalent fluency in EnglishWillingness to work late into the evening UK time in order to make calls to customers located on the West Coast of the USA
