Science Graduate Teaching Assistant- The Person

The school is looking for a science graduate who is driven to become an 'Outstanding' teacher in the future. You must be passionate about a career in education and have extensive knowledge of your specific subject area and have a sound knowledge of the curriculum. You will have an excellent academic background and have achieved a 2:1 or higher in your degree. The ideal candidate will have picked up transferrable skills through working with children in any setting and will be able to put these skills in to practice in this integral support role.

Science Graduate Teaching Assistant- The Role

This role will involve working closely with a range of students from those who are struggling to grasp the subject and need extra support to gain a C at GCSE and fulfil their potential. You may also be required to work with the schools 'gifted and talented' students, striving for the top grades and providing them with additional exam support to keep them motivated and facilitate their entry into University.
