Senior Software Engineer

A global solutions company are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Ashburton (Dartmoor National Park). Do you have embedded software development experience in C (or C++)? If so, then you may be the Software Engineer we're looking for. What will you be doing? As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for producing accurate documentation at all phases of the development lifecycle. You will have the ability to work collaboratively in project teams to develop software for a range of products; including but not limited to embedded features, non-embedded support and test automation applications. What skills/experience should you have? Proficiency in embedded software development in C (or C++) Extensive experience of RTOS Experience of developing Linux software (kernel / embedded, porting) Experience of developing portable software for multiple products and platforms Strong scripting experience (e.g. bash, awk, Python, Perl) As a Senior Software Engineer you'll be working for an established solutions company in Ashburton, just off the A38 (Dartmoor National Park).
