High level Building Services Operations manager to oversee the southern region for a highly successful M&E contractor.

Due to the continued expansion of our clients specialised engineering company, including their award winning data centre design and build business we have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager/Director.

You will manage a number of project managers working on either large multi-million pound projects to GBP30M in value or phases of jobs between GBP2.5 to GBP7.5m. You will have expertise in ensuring that the client is satisfied with the program, the financial elements and the quality of installation.
You will be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently ensuring that the client is keep informed of any alterations that may affect deadlines.

You will be able to motivate a team of project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, planners and associated construction staff.

You will have a track record of full project engineering duties including procurement of materials and labour, man management, sub-contractor management, financial control, health and safety monitoring, programming and reporting.
You will have worked on projects above GBP10m in value. If you have critical systems sector experience this will be a distinct advantage.

- Your main role will be to deliver a large multi-million project through all stages of construction to client handover from an operations and commercial perspective.
The project is split into a number of smaller data centre suites each managed by a separate project manager.
Your job will be to interface with these project managers and the client to ensure deadlines are hit, quality is maintained and budgets are in line.

You will be a strong character with good communication skills

You will be able to work independently and manage your time efficiently
