This 'Outstanding' Sheffield Secondary School is searching for a Physics graduate to join their science department as a teaching assistant. This role is perfect for an ambitious graduate who is keen to pursue a career in teaching but would like to earn GBP300 per week gaining invaluable experience prior to undertaking your PGCE or other teacher training. You will ideally have received a 2:1 or higher in your Physics degree and will have some experience working with children in any environment.

As a teaching assistant with a Physics degree you will be required to work across the science department, providing 1:1 support for children struggling to reach the C/D grade boundary and need extra support to reach the desired levels. You may also be required to work with students in the Maths department and work specifically with students studying Physics at A-level and support them through their exams and university applications, keeping them motivated throughout.
