Director of Human Resources
£75,000 per annum, more available for a truly exceptional candidate.
The Trust Group operates five colleges and associated residential provision in Nailsworth, Stourbridge, Sheffield, Birmingham, Pembrokeshire as well as an associated site in Darlington and an independent specialist school in Sheffield and Stourbridge. We provide innovative and experiential education for children and young people with special learning needs, developed out of the inspiration of Rudolf Steiner, William Morris and John Ruskin.
The Trust is now looking to recruit a new Director of Human Resources (based from Nailsworth in Gloucestershire)
This is a high profile role within a multi-sited national charity (turnover £18M), working with an established team of Human Resources professionals to further progress the charitable objects of The Mill Trust, its subsidiary companies and its sister charity.
The successful candidate will be required to use their creativity, intelligence and skills to provide leadership, direction and management of the human resources functions across the Trust, including the development of HR systems, processes and structure which support the vision, values, purpose and method of the Trust. In addition they will ensure that compliance is considered within all parts of the Trust and provide advice, guidance and support to Trustees, Directors and Senior Leaders.
You must have a strong technical background in Human Resources, be an outstanding communicator, open to learning about the method and values of the Trust, be able to manage and use your time effectively and deal with conflicting priorities as well as demonstrate high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
