Product Design Engineer

Corintech has an exciting opportunity for a Product Design Engineer to join their team based in Fordingbridge, Hampshire. You will be on a full time permanent basis, with a competitive salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience

We are looking for a highly motivated Product/Industrial Design Engineer to become part of our team to help drive the company forwards.

Responsibilities of our Product/Industrial Design Engineer

- Develop new products from concept, using sketching.

- 3D design and generation of production-ready drawings in Solidworks.

- Knowledge of plastics, properties and design principles.

- Work within our multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of design briefs.

- Keep up-to-date by researching new processes and technologies.

- Be a key player in shaping our new product roadmap, generating new product ideas and seeing them come to fruition.

- A focus on Design for Manufacture.

- Continually improve existing products to maintain our market leading position.

- Liaise with our manufacturing teams in the UK and Far East to see your products safely into full scale production.

Skills needed to become our Product Design Engineer

- Proficient in 3D design using Solidworks or similar tools.

- Experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator an advantage.

- Good communicator.

- At least 2 years experience.

- BA/BSc in Industrial or Product Design.
