HR Assistant - Basingstoke

Our client is a rapidly growing global marketing services provider who are currently working with some of the worlds biggest brands across a broad mix of industries. They are currently looking for a hard-working HR Assistant to join them on an initial 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to kick start your HR career fully as you will be joining a team of 4 experienced Human Resource Business Partners who will provide you with support and an opportunity to develop your HR skills and knowledge.

As part of this busy and varied HR Assistant role you will be expected to:

  • Provide support to all HRBP's and the recruitment team
  • Be responsible for the timely response to first line HR questions from line managers under SLT level
  • Advise on interpreting the current staff policies and involvement for developing new policies
  • Responsible for conducting inductions for the Basingstoke site
  • Input all starters/ leavers and make changes to the payroll system/ HRIS
  • Confirms all contractual changes for employees in writing
  • Conduct all exit interviews across the business and collate that information into a management report
  • Produce system reports as required by HRBPs
  • Help with payroll activities when required
  • Update the organisational charts and metrics checkers

  • The ideal candidate will:

    • Have some experience as a HR Assistant previously
    • Be looking to progress their career in HR
    • Be self-motivated with a desire to learn
    • Be hard working with a passion for HR
    • Ideally hold a HR qualification
