Javascript Developer
We're looking for a talented Javascript developer to join our product design team. Working alongside talented UX, UI and Visual Designers, you will bring prototypes to life using the latest technology to help us build an industry leading accountancy web application.
About you
• You are an experienced Javascript developer and you'll be able to construct elegant code quickly
• You've used Backbone.js, Node.js or Angular.js
• You've been involved with of built server side web apps and you can communicate technical concepts to non technical people
• You keep up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques
• You'll be used to pair programming and be happy to mentor other members of the team
• Mobile First will be a familiar concept to you and you'll have a deep understanding of RWD and developing for touch devices
• UI patterns and Atomic Design Systems will be your thing and you'll have ideas and examples of how these can be built and used practically within an expanding dev team
• You will have worked with test teams and follow best practice for various test stages for front end code and markup
• You have experience of working with design teams and an understanding of the design process.
• You will have created icon fonts and have experience of working with SVGs
• Experience of working with backend teams, version control, GIT, agile environments
Desirable if
• You have worked with Java systems
• Have experience with System Admin and configuration
