Post 1 - £28,577 pa + £1,200 pa Car allowance - London

Post 2 - £26,077 pa + £1,200 pa Car allowance - Leicester 

 

Hours:  35 hours per week    

Flexibility is required for both positions as you may need to work alternative patterns as the service is open between the hours of 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on a Saturday)

Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a two Tenancy Solutions Officers on behalf of our client, a leading social housing provider based in Leicester and London.

They have two new positions available within their Housing Services department; one will be based in London and the other in Leicester.  You will provide a high-quality customer focused service to customers dealing with ASB, harassment and domestic abuse cases.  They would really like to hear from you if;

You are educated to A-Level standard or have the equivalent in experience; 

You are customer focused with strong mediation skills and have the ability to understand, give advice and answer queries relating to information needed by customers;  

You have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise with the client;

You have knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and benefits affecting victims of ASB;

You have experience of full case management of ABS cases, including providing support to victims and taking legal action.   

These are challenging roles that will require an individual who can work collaboratively with tenancy service colleagues to develop a culture of early intervention to promote tenancy sustainment and minimise legal interventions, working within specified timescales. 

You will engage with partnering agencies to arrange and attend court cases, prepare evidence for action through the courts and represent customers.  Part of the role will involve leading on developing and delivering effective support for victims and witnesses and providing witness care during court cases.      

They require someone who can maintain up to date knowledge and awareness of relevant legislation, case law, best practice and keep housing colleagues updated.  You will proactively support sheltered, supported and home ownership officers who are dealing with ASB by offering advice and assistance and attend regular partnership meetings as necessary to ensure that effective liaison and communication is maintained with the emphasis on improving the lives of our customers and the wider community.  This will include local authority ASB meetings,
