Lead Business Analyst -  Norwich, Norfolk, £50 - £55k plus corporate package

The Lead Business Analyst position is a strategically aligned role and will lead the strategic direction and capability of the Business Analysis professional services team. The Lead Business Analyst role is an influential high-profile position and the role requires strong management and leadership capability.

The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for:

  • Establishing a BA professional service function that encompasses all areas of the business
  • Providing key stakeholders and the Project Management Director, with timely assessment of portfolio and component performance.
  • Assisting decision makers with the review, reprioritisation, and optimisation of the portfolio within the Project Steering Group.
  • Ensuring timely and consistent communication to stakeholders.
  • Participating in project reviews to reflect senior level support, leadership, and involvement in important issues.
  • Business process analysis and re-engineering
  • Requirement elicitation and documentation
  • Due diligence analysis
  • Bespoke reports
Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ Years in management / leadership roles (line management >4 team members)
  • 5+ Years demonstrable experience medium to high complexity BA experience
  • 3+ Years demonstrable experience in financial services and/or professional services/public sectors, working within technology and business change functions (desirable)
  • 2+ Years multi-region / geographic dispersed team management
  • University degree (desirable)
  • Professional certification: ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis, PRINCE2 Practitioner (desirable) or equivalent i.e. APM, Management of Portfolios (desirable), Agile SCRUM CSM (desirable).
  • Knowledge of the concepts and principals involved in outsourcing and experience in managing full project lifecycle throughout the implementation process of commercial outsourcing deals
  • Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers
  • Experience of working across an outsource service provider/customer interface.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills
  • Demonstrable influencing skills
  • Demonstrable technical/IT awareness and ability to identify new technologies and tools
  • Experience working with diverse subject content and varied approaches that are highly complex requiring well-developed analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to undertake a broad mix of technical, operational, supplier management and client facing tasks
