Production Radiochemist - Preston

Alliance Medical Radiopharmacy produces radiopharmaceuticals for use in Positron Emission Tomography (PET). Our aim is to provide a high quality reliable supply of radiopharmaceuticals to PET imaging centers across the UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Radiochemist at Preston. We are looking science graduates with the appropriate skills and qualifications to undertake GMP clean-room manufacture of our PET tracer products at our site.

Candidates should hold a degree or equivalent in physics, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy/ a related scientific discipline or have significant experience of manufacturing pharmaceuticals.

Due to the short shelf life of our products, our scientists work a flexible shift pattern involving some unsociable hours.

The ideal candidates will be have a manufacturing background, be flexible, highly motivated team player who work well under pressure and be able to meet strict deadlines. He/she will be passionate about their work and will be looking for a career where their contribution has a real impact on our service delivery and patient care.

Hours of work: 40 hours full-time Monday - Sunday
