We are looking for an experienced HR Consultant to work flexibly. You are likely to be working currently or have worked previously in a professional HR Consultancy or as a self-employed HR Consultant. You will also have 1st hand experience of managing a small team and be passionate about people management.

Our offices are on the ground floor of The Manor House, designed by Edwin Lutyens, providing a rare opportunity to work in a beautiful historic building.

About you:

+ You will have applied your significant HR expertise in a consultancy role and be used to working with senior decision makers in the SME world
+ Minimum MCIPD qualified – if you are FCIPD even better!
+ 5 - 7 years of experience in an HR generalist role – you may specialise now, but you really need to know your stuff
+ In addition, a minimum of 2 years’ HR Consultancy experience 
+ Proven management skills to support, develop and motivate teams
+ You will have a penchant for training design and delivery 
+ Commercially focused – if you are business savvy and understand the requirement to weigh up the employment and commercial needs, we really want to hear from you
+ Confident and outgoing with fab communication skills and the ability to strike up rapport with whoever you meet
+ Strong discipline and grievance experience 
+ Customer orientated – you really need to deliver excellent customer service
+ Super organised – able to prioritise – you know the usual HR thing about juggling balls!
+ Brilliant delegation skills are a must and we have a great team to provide support
+ Use your own initiative – we don’t do micro- management!
+ Be a team player – and yet able to work on your own when the need arises – you will need to be comfortable in our office and working from home
+ Flexible and adaptable to meet the challenges of the business 
+ Based within a commutable distance of Basingstoke, have own transport and like getting out and about to see clients
