Applications are invited for the post of Admissions Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and team-orientated professional with outstanding analytical and administrative skills to join our client's expanding admissions team.
Admissions Manager
Location: Cambridge
Salary: Between £29,301 and £38,183 per annum depending on experience
Full time (37.5 hours per week)
The Admissions Manager reports to the Senior Tutor and is responsible for the management of this college’s Admissions Office. This new role has been created to provide leadership and oversight of administration within the Admissions function.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive leadership of the college’s admissions administration
- Analyse data and trends, especially regarding graduate applications
- Support the Admissions Tutors, Senior Tutor and President on admissions matters
- Contribute to the college’s developing policy re admissions
- Liaise effectively with administrative staff in other parts of the university
- Continue to develop good patterns of communication, including use of social media
- Lead the Admissions Office and line manage its staff
- Provide secretarial support for the Admissions and Scholarships Committees
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor degree essential, relevant higher degree helpful
- At least 5 years’ experience of using numerical analysis to identify issues and recommend solutions
- At least 3 years’ experience of management
