Support Worker

Creative Support has recently secured new business in Leicestershire, enabling us to provide all supported living services in the South Leicestershire and Market Harborough area in addition to our existing Leicestershire services.  

As a result of this we now have a number of fantastic opportunities at a variety of services including but not limited to Market Harborough, Narborough, Oadby, Wigston, and throughout Leicestershire.

We require warm, positive, dedicated individuals to work in our learning disability and complex needs supported living services in Leicestershire. You will need to be enthusiastic about communicating with and supporting people in a person centred manner. Working alongside our dedicated team you will provide personal, practical, emotional and social support to individuals with learning disabilities who have limited communication, enabling them to have a great quality of life as important and valued members of the local community. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a successful team which is continuing to grow and develop. You will receive a full local and corporate induction after which you will complete the Care Certificate if appropriate. Once you have successfully passed your probationary period you will then be enrolled on the Adult Care & Support Worker Scholarship Level 2 for those starting their career in Health & Social Care or First Line Leader in Health & Social Care Scholarship Level 3.

The services we are currently recruiting for include:

Market Harborough

2 supported living houses with 4 service users living in each. Staff provide support with daily living skills, social and community inclusion, and ensuring service users maintain a good quality of life. Service users enjoy support to stay independent, be part of the community, and to feel valued and in control.

Narborough

4 service users living across three flats with a range of needs. Service users are a close knit group who enjoy doing activities together and are really involved in their local community. They enjoy drama groups, discos and shopping. Their dedicated staff team is very important to them to help them increase their independence.

Quorn

Supporting 4 individuals with all aspects of their lives.  This includes personal care, eating and drinking, accessing the community to engage in meaningful activities such as watching Leicester Tigers RFC, visiting sensory rooms, swimming and visiting local shops and cafes whilst providing direct support to engage in these.  This is a very rewarding service with a fantastic team striving to deliver better care for everyone.

Leicester City

Supporting individuals diagnosed with Mental Health needs to develop strategies for managing their own diagnosis.  Providing opportunities to develop new and existing skills to transition to independent living in the community after a period of accessing support.

Kirby Muxloe

In a lovely area of Kirby Muxloe you will provide support to 4 females with Learning Disabilities to lead individualised lives whilst provide opportunities to engage in activities of interest whilst supporting them with all aspects of personal care.

Leicester and Leicestershire Community Services

Working with individuals across Leicester and Leicestershire to maintain and develop new and existing skills.  This includes support with budgeting, engaging in social situations, exploring educational and employment opportunities and supporting individuals to maintain their current health needs.

Senior and Specialist Roles
