Sales Coordinator - Brief;

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Coordinator to join our team in Thurrock.

To apply for this role, you must have previous experience in Modular building sales/ hire or plant and or tool hire.

As a Sales Coordinator you will develop and promote the Company's hire business, by providing telesales, commercial and administrative support to achieve order levels at agreed margins.

If you have strong administration skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage an ever changing workload this could be the job for you.

As a leading modular building company, we hire, sell and manufacture cabins and modular buildings for many applications including office space, schools, from a single classroom to a multi-storey office complex, contractors' site accommodation and bespoke designs.

About You

We're looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, who has experience in building new relationships over the phone.

The following skills and qualifications are essential for this position:

- Experience of carrying out a business development campaign/cold calling.
- Strong administrative experience gained in a customer service environment.
- IT literate.
- Good level of numeracy/literacy.

Desirable but not essential:

- Sales administration experience.
- Previous position working a hire desk or similar
- Full UK driving licence.
- 5 GCSE's Grades A-C, including Maths and English or equivalent.

About the Role

Responsibilities include however not limited to:

- Carry out structured business development, including "cold calling" within the area designated, in order to achieve order targets.
- Respond to customer enquiries to generate orders.
- To maximise added value for every opportunity through promoting the full range of Building Services.
- Promote and achieve commercial visit targets to be undertaken by the Area Hire Manager.
- Effectively use internal systems to ensure customer information is kept up to date and systems are aligned.
- As directed liaise with your Manager with regard to refurbishment, fitting out, deliveries and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company procedure/Policies relating to Health and Safety.
- Assume responsibility, where necessary, in the absence of the Manager for the day to day smooth running of the Commercial Section.

The salary for this position is in the range of GBP24,000 - GBP26,000 plus commission, dependent on skills and experience.
