This company is the UK's leading manufacturer of high quality made-to-measure blinds and retractable insect screens for both the residential and commercial markets.
Positive growth and strong sales have created the need to appoint a full-time permanent installer / surveyor to cover the Greater London area.
The role is an immediate start.
With a head office based just outside Peterborough they manufacture on a made to measure basis and offer a full installation service for their customers.
This role will suit an entrepreneurial blinds and shutter fitter looking for long term commitment or a shift from subcontract to permanent basis.
A quality customer service approach with the highest attention to detail are key requirements for the role. Everything they make is made-to-measure and unique to the customer's requirements.
On a daily basis you will attend appointments made for you to visit customers in their homes to demonstrate the product and advise solutions to meet customer requirements.
After the customer's order has been manufactured you will then return to install their screens at an agreed date ensuring they are delighted with the product and quality of installation.
Experience in home improvement and a customer focused approach is essential, but full product training and vehicle are provided.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to full fill the complete company survey, sales and installation function.
- Visit customers on site to demonstrate product, advise them how the screens will work and be fitted.
- Diligently survey the customer's windows and doors to ensure correct manufacturing sizes
- Price up product on site and offer a verbal quotation
- Submit survey details to the sales office
- Liaise with factory to arrange delivery of work to be installed
- Install the screens whilst fully respecting and protecting the customer's property.
- Leave the customer feeling positive and reassured about their experience with the company.
- Feedback any manufacturing concerns regarding quality or finish.
- Review your schedule in advance and proactively identify any concerns allowing time to react accordingly.
