Neary Construction, a Civil Engineering Construction Company, specialising in the EHV Power sector, is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Estimator to join the team. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, the ideal Civil Engineering Estimator will receive a competitive salary.
Neary Construction has been working within the EHV Power Industry since 1992 when the Company was formed. Today the division is providing a wide range of construction services to many key clients within the industry.

From large cross - country cable installations involving complex access issues and land management techniques, to small complicated substation projects the division has the necessary directly employed staff to deliver quality, safety and programme.
Based in Manchester, your responsibilities as the Civil Engineering Estimator will include:
- Reviewing and assessing all ITT documentation
- Preparing cost estimates for earthworks, groundworks, drainage, reinforced concrete foundations, roads, trough-laying, ducting, temporary works, etc
- Obtaining quotations for materials and subcontract elements
- Preparation of programmes, plans and all submission documents
To be considered for this Civil Engineering Estimator position you will ideally have a minimum of 5 years’ experience along with the following skills:
- Highly literate and numerate
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Able to meet challenging deadlines
- Equally able to work individually or as part of a team
