Senior Voip Developer

FINTEC recruit is seeking a Senior Voip Developer for a Telecom Services business. This is a permanent role based in Brussels. Your technology knowledge and experience will consists of Java and C code , MySQL, Cassandra and RabbitMQ. We are seeking a Developer who is passionate about technology and quality deliverables. An exciting opportunity to work in bright new offices in Brussels, great benefits and future development opportunities. Salary is £45,000 to £55,000 plus benefits

Role and Responsibilities:

• Build robust, manageable and scalable voice and messaging services in Java and C
• Write services for SIP, SMPP, T.38 protocols
• Rapidly fix bugs and problems and create automatic tests
• Be an active participant in discussions about design and architecture
• be an advocate for best practices in software development (TDD, high code coverage unit and integration tests, etc.)

Requirements for the Senior Voip Developer role:

• Deep knowledge of SIP, SMPP
• Powerful C, C++, Java and Perl skills-
• Ability to design software for performance and scalability
• Linux environment experience
• A disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance, knowledge of test automation
• Working knowledge of asterisk and Kamailio
• Experience with Java 8, Hibernate and Spring 4 and job queuing services (RabbitMQ)
• Experience with MySQL and with Cassandra
• Great communication skills in English
