Senior Care Assistant

Heritage Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant to join the team at St Audrey’s located in Old Hatfield. Joining us on a full time or part time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £8.20 per hour.

Heritage Care is a charitable organisation that provides a range of flexible individualised care and support services for people with learning disabilities, mental health support needs and older people.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant you will ensure that services are provided that respect the choice, dignity and rights of individuals.

With a flexible approach to work and responsibilities, you will possess an appropriate NVQ and a good record as a carer. As the Senior Care Assistant, you will need to possess good communication skills that will help you interact with service users and their families. Experience with a supervisory role within a health care setting would be an advantage.

St Audrey’s is a home in Old Hatfield village providing independent living and dedicated care for 38 residents. The home, a converted manor house, offers a range of single rooms, communal lounges and beautiful maintained gardens, and is just a short walk from historic Hatfield House and other attractions.

Hours of work: 22.5 or 37.5 hours per week. You will work a mixture of early and late day shifts on a rolling rota basis, including regular weekends and Bank Holidays.

Salary: £8.20 per hour. Enhancements are also paid at 10% the hourly rate for night, Sunday and Bank Holiday hours worked.
