Care Worker

Heritage Care has fantastic opportunities for Care Workers to join the team at Hazlemere Lodge located in High Wycombe. Joining us on either a full time or part time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £7.70 per hour rising to £8.00 following probation.

Heritage Care is a charitable organisation that provides a range of flexible individualised care and support services for people with learning disabilities, mental health support needs and older people.

We have opportunities for Care Workers to join our team. You will work as part of a team providing physical, emotional, spiritual and social support to service users within the scheme to encourage them to achieve maximum independence where possible. To ensure that the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Heritage Care’s policies and procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards.

As one of our Care Workers, you will need to be a great team player and be able to build positive relationships with our service users, their families and our staff. You will need to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of older people living within the scheme and how to support them to lead valued lives in the community. Good literacy, numerical and verbal skills are a must. It’s also very important that you are organised, patient and of a caring nature. 

Hazlemere Lodge is a purpose built care home for 64 older people. The home has large, beautifully furnished bedrooms, each with their own en-suite facilities and equipped with the latest technology. At Hazlemere we offer personalised care tailored to an individual’s specific needs. We provide nursing care for 32 residents and care for up to 16 residents with dementia.

Salary: £7.70 per hour rising to £8.00 following probation. Enhancements paid for the following hours worked: Saturdays and Sundays: £1.25 per hour; nights: 10% of hourly rate.

Hours of work: 21 or 35 hours available on a shift rota basis, including early and late shifts and regular weekends.
