A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assembly and R&D Technician to join a market leader in the medical equipment manufacturing and service industry. Based in Old Trafford, Manchester, working on a full time basis, you will earn a negotiable salary, depending on experience.
The successful Assembly and R&D Technician will work building and repairing quality products with the added ability for R & D Design. The company is a Successful & well established major manufacturer, supplier and service of Medical Equipment to UK Hospitals, Ambulance Services and Export to over 60 countries. Reporting into the Works Co-ordinator, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Additional Information: Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 5pm and Friday 8:30am to 3:45pm.
The successful Assembly and R&D Technician will work building and repairing quality products with the added ability for R & D Design. Reporting into the Works Co-ordinator, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Strong track record on commitment & reliability.
- Must be mature in nature.
- Used to a fast-moving environment.
- Must be able to use hand tools, bench drills, lathes & millers etc.
- Must have previous experience on bench assembly work.
- Preferably previous experience with pressurised products.
- Previous experience with electrical products.
- Must have the ability to work to specific works instructions.
- Must be quality minded with an attention to detail and improvements.
- Must have an analytical mind geared to developing products.
- Must take full ownership and responsibility for your work.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and as an individual.
- Must be able to read, write and speak good English.
