Cambridgeshire Community Foundation is a registered charity looking to recruit an Assistant Grants Officer to join our passionate and dedicated team. Located in Cambridge, we work all over Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and are part of worldwide network of Community Foundations on a mission to improve lives and communities in their local areas.

This vacancy offers an exciting opportunity to support our growing programme team - connecting people who care with local causes that matter. Description: CCF aims to deliver a successful grant-making programme that encourages strong applications from voluntary groups and charities, critically assesses them and makes recommendations to Donors to allow the distribution of funds. As Assistant Grants Officer you will support this grant-making programme end-to-end with a variety of administrative, scheduling, analytical and communications tasks.

Job Specification
 To assist in the processing of all grant applications from receipt to final monitoring including: importing doc-uments, offering advice, checking eligibility, preparing offer letters, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions of awards made and creating reports
 To maintain up-to-date records of activity and application status on CCF's database
 To prepare paperwork for meetings such as panel papers, fund reports and minutes
 To co-ordinate visits to grant recipients by trustees and volunteer team members
Profile
Previous experience of grant-making or the charity sector is not necessary as full training will be given
The successful candidate will have:
 Proven ability to manage time, prioritise and work to deadlines
 Good numerical/ mathematics skills
 Good attention to detail - be able to produce high quality reports
 Confident communication skills both with colleagues and externally
 Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of using databases
