Renewable Energy Plant Operator
Join our Green Team at Wyke Farms Ltd, responsible for operation of our award-winning AD plant & cheese dairy water treatment plant.
Once qualified the candidate will be required to run gas upgrading plants, CHP engines, solids feeding equipment, as well as running DAF, UF and RO plants. This will include driving telehandlers, cherry-pickers and forklifts, use of computer monitoring systems (SCADA) and maintaining health, safety and quality records. Full training will be provided. You must be physically fit, reliable and ideally have some experience in the recycling or waste industries and operating plant machinery such as telehandlers or loading shovels.
Shift rota is 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, alternating each week. You must be prepared to work bank holidays and every other weekend. The hours are 06:00 - 18:00 with overtime available.
The rate of pay is approximately £25,000 per year for working the above shift pattern. More details of rota and hours of work will be provided for applicants selected for interview.
