JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager
DIVISION: Client Services
JOB LOCATION: Newbury
REPORTS TO: Client Services Director
SALARY: 25k-35k depending on experience
AP&C service a growing portfolio of companies in the IT sector.
We now have a new and exciting opportunity for two Marketing Managers to join our Newbury office.
As Marketing Manger you will be working closely with our Creative and Client Services teams to help drive business growth across existing and new markets and client opportunities.
Under the direction of a senior manager, you would work to help reach the marketing goals and objectives of the companies clients.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Considerable administrative experience gained through working within a commercial office environment (3-4 years)
At least 2 years of Marketing experience gained through working as either a marketing assistant or executive. Marketing qualification would be favourable but not essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWorking within the Marketing Department responsible for key accounts you will be required to perform a range of duties.
Duties to include but not be restricted to:
- Main responsibility: One of the main roles of the position will be looking after the marketing activities for our key clients. These are clients which have marketing funds to spend on a quarterly basis. Marketing proposals and plans will be required and the execution of agreed marketing campaigns will have to be undertaken by the Marketing Manager. All ROI statistics and reports will have to be fed back to the clients along with any supporting information they may require for claiming. You will also be required to manage the budget of these clients, tracking the budget and ensure zero exposure to the business
- Administration: Ensure all admin, campaign claims and tracking of all back-up paperwork, suppliers' invoices and proof of performance for client claims.
- Budget: Manage and track all marketing spend. Ensure budget is allocated to the correct resources and spent in alignment with forecasted timeframes to guarantee consistent ROI. To monitor, track and record marketing spend vs budget.
- Lead management: Manage the process for the management and allocation of leads, together with ROI reports to supply to clients in support of their funding.
- Social Media and Digital Marketing: Manage and co-ordinate your own social media marketing and digital marketing campaigns partnering with the Digital Makrketing Executive and Creative Services team where neccisary.
- Email Marketing and Communications: Working with our email system for client campaigns - distribute, track and report on all external email communications. Working on ad-hoc projects, such as "one-off" emails which are invariably needed for short campaigns and sudden promotions.
- Relationships: Develop and build business relationships with clients.

- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision as necessary
- Thorough understanding of both traditional and new media
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in all aspects of marketing communications
- Good understanding of Microsoft software: Powerpoint, Excel and Word
- Previous experience of working in a similar role
- Ability to use own initiative with confidence to make decisions as and when required
- Adopt a flexible approach to hours of work- (may be required to work away from home from time to time or work hours beyond the company standard).
Desirable:
- Understanding/experience of the Information Technology industry
HOURS OF WORK
The company's standard hours of work are 9.00am - 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch, although some work outside of these hours will be required
