Overall Job Purpose:
IT is an essential enabler of the business at Stonegate and keeping our Site systems running, is the top priority for Site Service Delivery. Thus we have dedicated site support for our sites for their IT issues and IMAC requests. This includes installing, diagnosing and maintaining equipment (Tills, Printers, PCS, Servers, PDQs and Phones) to ensure optimal performance. The person will also identify and troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion to stop estate wide issues.
Responsibilities:
Support
Support site Install, Moves, Adds and Changes (IMAC) in hardware installs.
Provide efficient 2nd Line support
Email account administration, i.e. account creation and management and distribution lists on Microsoft 365.
Setting up new Site 'accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues on Active Directory.
Highlight and work with 3rd party suppliers to install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot any authorised software applications.
Working with sites that have been highlighted as top callers from our Helpdesk System to mitigate issues.
Problem Management:
Provide IT support to Sites (pubs) via Helpdesk
Liaise with 3rd party, outsourced suppliers for call resolution
Develop trends by monitoring and analysing incoming calls, problems and support requests
Review and update Triage and Engineer notes.

Person Specification: Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree in the field of computer science and/or 2 years equivalent work experience
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:
knowledge of operating systems.
excellent problem-solving skills
the ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users
the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
a patient and methodical approach
the ability to work alone or as part of a team
EXPERIENCE:
Essential
