Our client has identified an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Senior Sales / Business Development Manager to join their well-established, forward thinking company within their Industrials Division.

Established 25 years, our clients continue to expand their B2B offering and currently promote 3 distinct divisions of: Office, Industrial and Interiors.

They are now looking for a senior sales professional who has a genuine interest and knowledge of Industrial products, including PPE, Workwear, Safety and Janitorial, who will use their skills and experience in developing new business opportunities within the SME, schools and corporate market.

Who are we looking for?
The successful Senior Sales / Business Development Consultant will have:
• Strong proven experience within the industry – ideally a minimum of 3 years within a similar role
• A natural flair for opening new relationships with prospective clients
• Will be equipped with the skills to identify new opportunities, schedule their own meetings in the field, follow through on leads and close the opportunities
• Good knowledge of some or all the sectors listed
Must be able to hit the ground running
• Enthusiasm, organisation, self-motivation and a proven ability to close are all essential qualities for this role

The Role
Working closely with the Sales Director and Managing Director of the company, it will be your remit to identify, shape and develop business opportunities & manage the full 360-degree sales cycle.

You will be based from their modern offices in Leeds, but will also be out on the road attending meetings, predominantly within the Yorkshire area, though further afield if required.
