Our customer is looking for a paraplanner based in Fareham to provide a full report writing service to advisers including reviewing any existing holdings, meeting compliance requirements, proof reading and sending the report to the final destination. The job will also involve supporting both the Adviser and Office Manager to ensure that all service standards are met. The candidate will support and drive the implementation of group policies.

Main Responsibilities:

Ability to work closely with IFAs.

Produce full research, reports and suitability letters, within timescales.

Tenacious ability to work autonomously, under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.

The individual must be proactive, self-motivated and driven.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Reviewing client portfolios in terms of performance, risk analysis and asset allocation.

To comply with all applicable FCA rules and current regulations and processes relevant to the role.

Obtain relevant key features and illustrations.

Monitor all reports for Advisers.

Work within the company's compliance guidelines.

Assist compliance with any queries on reports.

Delivery of completed report to client/adviser within the agreed timescales.

Providing help and advice to customers using your Organisation's products or services.

Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face.

To provide 'Customer Service Review' Reports for clients for advisers including reviewing any existing holdings, research, ordering any necessary key features and illustrations, meeting compliance requirements and assisting compliance with any queries, proof reading the report for accuracy and sending the final version out to the required destination.

Build client portfolios and ensure that all switch/redirection procedures are carried out according to client's instructions.

Maintain and keep up to date the Client Contact Preference Data.

Assist compliance with any queries on reports.

Proof read reports and letters.

Maintain Paraplanning spreadsheet.

Ensure that all diary entries are reviewed in a timely manner and any problems are escalated through the proper channels.

Manage the 'Reason Why' reports ensuring that they are kept up to date with any Legislation changes that may occur.

Manage client portfolios and ongoing research.

Ensure all spreadsheets are maintained on time and on completion immediately of each task.

Ensure that the WRAP research and ATR Analysis are updated on a monthly basis.

Reviewing all Portfolio and Asset Allocations with our Investment Consultant Managers.

Ensuring that all Relevant WRAP, Asset Allocation, Provider Folders are updated on regular basis.

Be an active member of the Research Committee.

Be responsible for updating all portfolios on FE Trustnet, Nucleus and Skandia with any changes.

Maintain historic portfolio data in a compliant manner.

Provide written summaries of each portfolio for the portfolio factsheets, describing changes, and current positions for client distribution.

Ensure that the Office Procedure Polices are followed at all times.

Required Skills:

An Approved qualification or working towards (e.g. Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning).

Good written English Language skills.

Experience within the Financial Services Industry.

Well organised with the ability to manage own workload.

Ability to work alone and to deadlines, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication & interpersonal skills.

Accurate report writing skills.

Excellent IT skills.

Presentable handwriting.

Knowledge of all financial products.

Organisational and planning.

Flexible approach with 'can do' attitude.

Team development.

Customer service focused.

The individual must be proactive, self motivated and driven.

Qualifications:

Diploma in regulated Financial Planning, QCF level 4 or significant inroads into achieving this qualification.

Willingness to study and work towards further advanced industry qualifications with an intention of achieving Chartered Status.

The jobholder will be highly organised, approachable, confident, articulate, enthusiastic and passionate about delivering against the agreed service levels. They should be professional, committed and focused on achieving their objectives.

They should have the ability to adapt to industry and regulatory environment in retaining required competencies. They should also work towards and meet agreed targets and expectations whilst retaining client relationship as the core focus.
