Courtyard Care Ltd has an opportunity for a Registered Manager (Children’s Home) to join the team in Bolton. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £28,080 - £31,200 per annum.

Courtyard Care Ltd is a specialist therapeutic Residential Childcare provider who is seeking to attract a Registered Manager (Children’s Home) for its home in Farnworth, Bolton. The home is a five bedded detached property which supports young people with mental health issues. We work alongside a psychologist who supports our young people and staff teams.

As the Registered Manager (Children’s Home) you will oversee the smooth running of the home taking responsibility for the young people and staff team, including;

- Lead the Home in establishing a quality led service ensuring all legislation and Quality standards along with the Ofsted inspection framework outcomes are fully compliant.

- You must have significant experience in the care sector working with children & young people.  Ideally supporting young people with mental health or working with children who may challenge.

- Have positive outcomes for children central to their work practice; support the young people in all areas.

- Prior management experience within residential childcare is essential.

- Oversee support staff ensuring the home complies with all aspects of relevant legislation.

- Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals and mentoring staff is key to the role.

- Hold a full UK driving License

- Have the resilience and enthusiasm to take on a new challenge within a home with individuals with mental health issues.

- A robust understanding of safeguarding.

- Must have completed or currently enrolled on the level 5 diploma relevant for residential childcare.

- Applications are subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks.

The Registered Manager (Children’s Home) salary is subject to experience, we will consider deputy managers wanting to step  up to management level, we also want to attract experienced managers.  Salary range is £28,080 - £31,200.
