Our client is a manufacturing company that specialise within the can making industry; they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join the assembly department based on Wrexham Industrial Estate.

They are looking to recruit a self-motivated, experienced part time Quality Inspector with hands on approach. You will have a good understanding of engineering drawings, component design, geometrical tolerance work and manufacturing processes. You must be able to plan and prioritize workloads and perform and succeed to tight deadlines.

Job Specification:

• Operating the CMM machine to take accurate readings from components to produce accurate data.
• Recording results of inspection on Inspection Reports.
• Adding the required identification markings for any components that have passed or failed the inspection process
• Inspecting manufactured parts against the required Technical Drawings or information.
• Measuring components using various tools.
• Checking that all measuring tools are calibrated in accordance with ISO 9000 or whenever required (whichever is sooner).
• Communicating the results of the inspection to the necessary departments.
• Liaising with other departments to decide on priorities for inspection.
• Training apprentices.
