HR Advisor (part time) | Competitive Salary | Norwich, Norfolk
Contract Personnel are in partnership with a leading manufacturer in Norwich to recruit for an experienced HR Advisor on a part time basis.
Ideally working 9am - 1pm, Monday to Friday, you will uphold the company's HR function, working in close liaison with the Production and H&S Managers, using your comprehensive understanding of current UK Employment legislation.
Reporting to the Directors, responsibilities will include:
- Drafting offers of employment, reviews and promotion documentation
- Develop, maintain and implement HR policies and procedures
- Manage grievance and disciplinary matters
- Manage attendance and employee holiday & absence records
- Deal with recruitment and retention on the factory floor and within the offices
- Manage appraisal and reviews
- Organise training schedules
As a person, it is hoped that you will have a very hands-on, straight talking approach when dealing with the challenges a busy factory environment brings. You should be comfortable establishing and maintaining good working relationships throughout the business and have an emphatic ear when needed.
Ideally from a manufacturing environment, you should love getting involved and be a driven & proactive professional, with excellent communication and IT skills.
