The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and talented Bingo Caller. This role will be based at our Apollo Bingo Club in Durham however there may be occasions where you will be assist to work at our Hippodrome Bingo Club in Bishop Auckland. You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service and standards.

This is a permanent part-time position, usually working 25 hours per week with a rate of pay of up to £8.00 per hour depending on experience.

Hours of operation are from 11am to 10pm 7 days per week and work patterns will include a variety of afternoon, evening and weekend shifts, usually working over 4/5 days each week.

Duties include:

• Your primary role will be calling Bingo – This involves standing on stage and calling numbers
• You may also be required to undertake any other duties to support the smooth running of the Club, including:
  • Meeting and greeting Customers
  • Providing help and assistance to customers
  • Selling Bingo Books/packages
  • Giving change
  • Serving/preparing food and beverages
  • Providing customer service on the bingo hall floor
  • Ensuring all fruit machines are kept clean and presentable

Full training will be provided to the successful applicant where needed.

Do you have?

• Strong communication skills
• Confident when standing in front of an audience
• Customer service experience (ideally in bingo or in the hospitality/ entertainment industry)
• Cash handling experience
• A bright, outgoing and friendly personality
• A good work ethos:

  • And have a smart appearance
