SAAS Marketer / Sales Manager

Our client is an Ecommerce agency based in Staffordshire about to release their new SAAS Ecommerce Web Store product. This is an opportunity to step up, make some money and chart your own career path and lifestyle. They are looking for a dynamic, innovative and self-motivated individual to join their team to work with them from scratch on a new marketing strategy for their software as well as be solely responsible for the day to day execution of this strategy.

The right candidate will be responsible for the following. Please note that this list is not exhaustive. You will need to be flexible to do whatever is required to make this launch a success.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of marketing and revenue generation for their products and services.
• Conceive and develop an innovative marketing program to drive demand for their products and services.
• Own the implementation of a sales and marketing plan for the software product
Be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of marketing
• Have experience in SAAS marketing.
• Develop planned Lead generation.
• Be responsible for creating, closing, tracking and reporting sales opportunities.
• Work to help identify new partners.
• Provide online presentations to prospects.
• Accurately manage, track and forecast revenue opportunities.
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates their products and services within the market.
• Take responsibility and ownership of their corporate website.
• Manage the development of marketing and sales collateral. Content includes web collateral, presentations, whitepapers, blogs, videos, press releases, etc.
• Produce sales collateral that communicates the value proposition of their services to prospective customers.
• Be a positive contributor to "the team" in order to maximize their short and long term revenue targets.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Ecommerce Software Sales.
• Demonstrated track record of success in achieving and exceeding assigned revenue goals
Proven excellence in communication.
• Ability to understand the prospect/customer environment from both business and technical perspectives.
• Must be able to work well under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong work ethic, ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Ecommerce Software (preferably Magento).
• Proven ability to generate pipeline and close sales.
• Need attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits.
• Ability to find creative solutions to challenging problems.
• Very strong written and visual communication skills.
• Strong creative skills to drive the development of marketing creative.

Our client would need to see live illustrations of your abilities and performance, as well as a synopsis of your proposed implementation strategy. Past performance and successes must be provided and be verifiable.

Salary: Basic £25k + Commission OTE £60k
