Trainee Compliance Coordinator
The Role:
The successful candidate will promote Quality achievement and improvement throughout the organisation. They will be based at Stoke-on-Trent and be responsible for assisting with the following:
• On site Quality Assurance and Control
• Customer complaint and non-conformance handling
• Internal audits and relevant liaison with customers’ auditors
• Communicating quality/environmental information to all relevant departments
• Document control management
• Management of calibration system
• Working with Purchasing and Technical colleagues to maintain/develop specifications
• Identifying relevant quality/environmental training needs and deliver training
• IPPC compliance
• On site waste management and control
• Environmental spill control systems
• Valpak submission and COSHH
The Applicant:
Candidates will ideally have some experience of working in a Quality Control environment and will possess the following skills and competencies:
• A Level five qualification, or equivalent, in a Mechanical/Manufacturing/Quality/Materials Engineering
• Willingness to travel across all sites is essential and candidates who have an understanding of generating written procedures and works instructions will be given preference
• Candidates will ideally have experience of working in an Environmental or Mechanical industry and have advanced IT skills in all Microsoft packages
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential and the successful candidate will also be able to manage complexity, be action
action oriented, resilient and resourceful
