Our client provides a primary care psychological therapies service that offers support to people who are in emotional distress and looks at how they can support them in their recovery.

Vacancy: Psychological Wellbeing Therapist
2 x Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
1 x Part Time - 22.5 hours per week
Salary Range: £28,746 - £35,577, depending on qualification and experience
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire

The post holder will work within the service providing high intensity interventions including a range of psychological interventions, including enhanced cognitive behavioural therapy (eCBT). They would work with clients who have a range of mental health problems, including anxiety and depression related problems, people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.

Requirements: Therapy qualification (plus degree or MA/MSc) and/or Diploma in Counselling, with 2 years’ experience of IAPT/primary care. Recovery and DNA rate will be taken into account. This post would be based within our client's Cannock Office.

Experience in working with long term conditions would be desirable.
