Our client provides a primary care psychological therapies service that offers support to people who are in emotional distress and looks at how they can support them in their recovery.

Vacancy: Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner
2 x Full Time - 37.5 hour per week
1 x Part Time - 22.5 hours per week
Salary: £21,263 - £27,635 depending on qualifications and experience
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
Location: 1 x Covering Staffordshire Area 1 x Stafford Based

Our client is looking for a Psychology graduate to deliver brief psychological interventions, psycho-education, self-help material and assessing social needs. You will be focusing on providing low level support to clients experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and depression. This will be carried out via face to face appointments and signposting to appropriate services.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but full training will be provided. Experience of dealing with long term conditions would also be advantageous but again full training will be provided.

They are also looking to build a bank team of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to work at both their Cannock and Stafford sites.  If you are interested in bank work please state this on your application form when applying.
