Head of Post Completion - Property Finance

The Role Shawbrook continues to grow and as part of our strategic growth plans we are looking to recruit a Head of Post Completion for our Property Finance division. This role will sit across both our commercial and residential business and is designed to deliver a strong customer service proposition for the division whilst protecting our position on existing loans by ensuring sound credit decisions are made by the team. This is an exciting growth position which would suit candidates with strong property finance experience, with previous experience of holding a lending mandate. Responsibilities Key responsibilities of the role will include the following: Reviewing and maintaining procedures for all post completion actions across the property division, challenging policy with Director of Lending & procedure with Customer Services Director. Mentoring and supporting the team of loan manager to increase mandates and improve audit performance. Monitoring team performance, identifying development needs and delivering the required support and training. Develop and maintain a suite of service and credit related post completion MI, considering customer activity levels and trends. The Person Suitable candidates will have the following experience: Previously mandated in a mortgage lending environment. A strong understanding of the commercial & residential mortgage sector. A good knowledge and understanding of legal conveyancing. Strong customer focused approach with an enthusiastic "can do" attitude.
