ASSISSTANT HERDSPERSON
A full-time (split shift) position has become available to work on our modern, family run dairy farm with our 300 pedigree Holstein Fresians. To assist our herdsman and the family in the day to day running of the herd and followers.
Duties will include milking, herd health, AI, Dehorning, TB testing and general animal care duties.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a passion for animals and there well being. Who can maintain a high level of cleanliness in the dairy and is punctual, reliable and keen to be part of the team.
Some experience is preferable but we are happy to give training and provide appropriate courses. (eg AI)
RELIEF MILKER
We are looking for an experienced individual to assist with afternoon milkings and maybe some weekends. Days flexible to suit availability.
