Workshop Engineering Machinist
Sittingbourne, Kent
£16.50 ph
The work would be bespoke one off to ten off contract type work so a good variety of work.
Our client is looking for a fully skilled machinist with eye to detail and pride in their work.
Conscientious with a good work ethic is a good attribute and the ability to work with other in a small team.
Duties would be to make parts to engineering drawings, working to tolerances where required.
A fork truck training course would be provided as the nature of the work requires this at times.
Our client would look at someone who is nearly fully skilled but is looking to improve their skills base in a machine shop environment.
For the right candidate excellent rates of hourly pay plus extra incentives.
The position is self employed with continuous long term work.
There may be an option at later stage to go paye if candidate requires.
Extra skills like welding etc would be beneficial.
