Marketing Operations Co-ordinator: Nottingham, UK
About the Job
Do you want to be a key player in supporting sales growth of the company, by coordinating marketing projects and initiatives and being responsible for improving processes and collaboration as well as managing relationships with external partners and vendors?
Are you excited by being at the beating heart of the UK based Games Workshop marketing team, by acting like a spider in the web between the Consumer and Content marketing team, the Product and Channel marketing team and the White Dwarf team. You will help deliver all marketing around all key product launches, marketing campaigns and other marketing projects and initiatives, for all channels and all markets?
As part of the marketing management team, you will be collaborating with lots of different people and teams on a regular basis, both within our marketing department, across the wider business and with external partners and vendors. You will need to ensure that all processes around (product) marketing information and assets sharing, means that they are shared with the right people, at the right time, in the right way AND ensure this is always done in a way that guarantees sensitive information is safe and secure at all times.
You will be responsible for coordinating marketing initiatives and campaigns which go beyond our standard social media and point of sale support. This includes our major product launches, themed / seasonal campaigns and any channel improvements that are identified. Sometimes there will be business initiatives instigated at a strategic level, when this happens you will coordinate the marketing department's involvement.
While doing all of the above you are expected to report on the tracked marketing spend and add benchmarks to the reporting in terms of KPI's and ROI, providing analysis and insight to the marketing management team.
Finally, you will be continually looking for, recommending and implementing ways to improve all of the above!
We know what makes this job hard is delivering ever-improving projects, initiatives and processes on time, to brief and within budget whilst at the same time working with lots of different teams and stakeholders, all with different needs and wants.
Working at Games Workshop
At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills or experience.
