This business manages critical incidents in the car and home on behalf of the world's leading insurers, brokers and fleet managers, together with warranty and service plan provision for many automotive manufacturers globally.

Due to internal promotions they are seeking Contracts Managers to ensure the quality of materials and workmanship are in accordance with the design information. To provide a friendly and professional interface between their supplier, policyholders and staff.

Your responsibilities will include

- Conducting Pre- Contract Meetings
- Ensuring H&S and CDM obligations are met by all parties
- Validation of Variations, in accordance with IFI procedures.
- Managing and reporting on jobs during the repair phase.
- Recording of reportable Incidents.
- Identification of new contractors
- Conducting Contractor Audits, (suitability, competence, financial stability, insurance)
- Updating all relevant information on iSubs.
- Effective cost management throughout repair phase, utilising Symbility tool.

You will need the following skills and experience to succeed in this role

- Demonstrate an understanding of the Insurance Industry (including, perils, hazards, loss assessors, loss adjusters, underwriters intermediaries, actuaries, NHBC etc)
- Demonstrate a working understanding of relevant legal and regulatory matters (including, the role of the FCA, Asbestos Handling Procedures, CDM, DPA, H&S, Party Wall Act, Anti-Bribery Legislation)
- Is able to apply key insurance principles (Utmost Good Faith, Proximate cause, Indemnity, Contribution & Subrogation)
- Is able to describe how the role fits, relates and interacts with the wider business (including the service provided to insurers, responsibilities of other roles within InFront, terminology used to describe activities and business areas, different approaches required by clients).
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of construction, both technical and commercial.
- Hold NEBOSH General Certificate
- It is desirable to hold, or be working towards, a HNC or Technical Degree (e.g. engineering, building, surveying), or similar.
- It is desirable to hold, or be working towards, Cert CII qualification
