Magna Exteriors Banbury LTD specialise in manufacturing and supplying some of the most well-known brands within the Automotive Industry.
We are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and forward thinking Financial Controller to become an integral part of our senior management team. You will take charge of providing key financial and commercial support to the company, taking charge of the day to day management and operations of the finance department.
Key Results Area:
- Operate the finance department in line with group accounting policy and day to day line management of the finance team in line with the company's employees charter
- Develop and improve financial controls and processes within Division
- Production of monthly Financial (Hyperion Pack) and Management Accounts (Management Reporting Pack) within agreed deadlines.
- Preparation of annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts
- Administer Program Accounting (Tooling and Design & Development)
- Ensure SOX compliance within the Division
- Carry out ad-hoc projects as requested.
Qualifications and Skills:
- ACMA or ACA qualified within an establish accounting practice
- Ability to translate financial information into recommendations for operational efficiencies and improvements
- Detailed knowledge of UK GAAP
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Conversant with SOX compliance
- Use of SAP
- Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive for the last 5 years
- Previous experience of managing a finance department
- Have the ability to build business relationships at all levels
- Have the ability to use financial information to influence decision making
Working Hours:
- 5 hours per week (you must be flexible and able to work overtime as & when needed)
