Single Point of Contact Team Manager
Full time = 40 hours per week - based across North Hampshire
Salary - £24,000

This is an amazing opportunity for highly motivated and innovative person to join our Integrated Domestic Violence and Abuse Service based within North Hampshire.

We are looking to recruit a Single Point of Contact Team Manager within the North Hampshire area. Working within a wider team providing practical and emotional support to women, men and children experiencing domestic violence and abuse across the county of Hampshire.

The successful applicant will be based in North Hampshire (covering Basingstoke and Deane through to Hart and Rushmoor). Due to the nature of the work, being a car driver with a car for work is essential for this post.

The highly skilled and experienced SPOC co-ordinator will manage countywide enquires and referrals to and through the service. They will put in place robust systems to ensure 24/7 access to the service and that referrals, assessments and reviews are carried out. They manage the allocation and matching of clients to support including the children, young peoples and families team. In periods of leave or prolonged absence the role holder will deputise for the Service Manager.

We are looking for a person who has experience of:

* managing complex and demanding service functions
* supporting, motivating and developing teams and individuals
* working with children, families and young people
* risk management, needs led assessment and support planning
* excellent case management and report writing skills

and who can:

* be person centred at all times
* share best practice knowledge of the impact of domestic abuse on children and families
* work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and staff team which will include evenings and weekends (as required)
* act with integrity, be trustworthy and treat people with dignity and respect
* remain calm when dealing with a crisis or emergency
* ensure all data recording meet contract requirements
* ensure clients are at the forefront when making decisions about service design and delivery
* work to raise awareness of the service, produce good publicity materials, develop and maintain excellent relationships with people both within company and externally, and be an ambassador and champion for our work
