Are you a CAD Designer looking to join an ambitious team? Are you looking to take a new step in your career? If the answer is yes, then our client has a vacancy for you! Currently our client is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join their very successful and growing advanced engineering company working mainly in the Automotive and Aerospace sectors.
The successful candidate will have good communication skills and experience with CATIA or SOLIDWORKS. A background and foundation in Model making, Tool making or Automation equipment/jigs and fixtures is desired.
A large percentage of the candidate designs will be implemented on site, with the responsibility to use best design practises for cost effective manufacturing. Technical liaison with the project managers and the manufacturing team is essential to achieve the best result for customers. There will also be a requirement for the occasional customer visit.
As a CAD Designer, projects are usually on very tight deadlines, which are reflected in the teams commitment to achieve these goals.
- 3 months’ probation
- Hourly paid,
- 38 hour week plus overtime at time and half
- 20 days holiday year 1 then 26 days thereafter (plus bank holidays)
- Salary 33K to 46K depending on overtime
