Shift Maintenance Engineer

We need a technician with experience in the maintenance of manufacturing process equipment (electrical and mechanical systems) to support production activities on site and ensure the efficiency and operation of production equipment is not inhibited in any way.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance of electrical and mechanical production equipment
- Achieve team and individual targets.
- Fault diagnosis and rectification of electrical and mechanical systems
- Repairs planning and provision of materials
- Complete and control all necessary documentation around engineering activities.
- Achieve all activities in line with company regulations and Health & Safety guidelines.
- Assist with driving continuous improvement and lean activities including 5S principles.
The successful candidate will not be phased by a busy and demanding environment and have electrical systems maintenance knowledge that extends to fault diagnosis and rectification. There is a preference for 5 years or more and HND level qualifications. 17th edition wiring qualification is preferred.
A positive and proactive attitude is real requirement for joining the existing team, you must be enthusiastic and motivated to work in a fast paced engineering environment, able to multitask and happy with taking on responsibility.
Shift - 12hrs: 3 days on, 3 days off, 3 nights on.
