A fantastic opportunity is available for a customer-focussed Account Manager to join an expanding, fun, and award-winning technology business in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, earning £20,000 to £25,000 depending on experience. The Account Manager will initially cover maternity leave for 11 months, but this has the potential to turn into a permanent position. This is an exciting time to join the company, with big expansion plans in 2017 and beyond.
The successful Account Manager will focus on maximising client loyalty, building strong relationships with existing customers that are founded on trust, efficiency, and delivery of excellent customer service through positive and proactive communication. In addition, the Account Manager will process customer orders, respond to incoming enquiries and manage the company’s CRM database. Your main duties will include, but will not be limited to:

In addition, the Account Manager will process customer orders, respond to incoming enquiries and manage the company’s CRM database. Your main duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assume day-to-day account management of company’s existing client base
- Continuous improvement of customer experience, and product
- Copywriting recruitment adverts, like this one (don’t worry, full training will be given)
- Respond promptly to inbound customer enquiries (no outbound sales)
- Maintain the company’s contact database management tool
- Gather market and customer information/intelligence and share with managers
- Feed future buying and industry trends back to the management team
- Ensure effective internal communication within the sales, marketing, and customer teams
- Report potential collaborators and competitor activities to identify threats and opportunities
- Managing customer accounts and a CRM system
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prioritising workload to ensure high levels of customer service
- Customer service and/or sales experience
- Copywriting experience is also desirable, although not essential
- Some knowledge of the recruitment industry (desirable)
