Chef/Cook - BN13 (37.5 hours per week)
£9.50 per hour

Due to expansion Servest are looking to recruit a chef to lead a small kitchen team of 3, within a larger team of 11 staff in a busy and vibrant staff Cafe based in Worthing (BN13). This position would suit a sous chef looking to gain experience leading in a kitchen.

About the role

The position is working (37.5 hours per week) -
Monday to Friday, 06:30am - 2:30pm
£9.50 per hour

Your main role is to ensure menu items are prepared and presented to a high standard, with an eye for detail

You will Assist in menu planning, costing's, ordering, stock control and monitoring wastage.

Responsible for all food safety compliance and due diligence.

We are looking for a Chef with the following;

Background within business and industry catering

Ideally at least a 701 or 702 equivalent

To be able to work under pressure within a team

Enthusiastic in driving the business and team forwards

Good working practices and a positive attitude

Good sound Knowledge of health and safety and food safety

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A real passion for food and service, with the ability to prepare and cook good quality seasonal food.
